What service does MarketDrums provide?
We redistribute news and events of listed funds. We bring this news to our clients over the web, via email, via text messages, via RSS and in your electronic calendar. In the near future, we’ll bring the news to you via instant messenger and to your desktop.
What does MarketDrums cost?
Depending on how many funds you track we charge a monthly fee. This fee includes all costs.
How can I pay?
You can pay with VISA and MasterCard credit cards.
Do you provide support by phone?
Yes, but because we’re an Amsterdam, Netherlands based company and our clients reside in different time zones, we prefer support via email. To make it easy for you to contact us, we created a feedback form that is always accessible when you are logged in. Our support team will always try to respond the same working day.
What sources do you use as news providers?
We use public sources and non-public sources. We don’t write news articles. We make sure our news providers are internationally recognized as reliable sources.
What guarantees do you give about accurateness and completeness of news you provide?
We guarantee that we do our utmost best to have the fastest and most reliable, most accurate and complete news distribution system in the world. If you miss any news or event please let us know so we can possibly prevent repetition in the future. We provide professional news to non-professional investors. Professional investors should not rely on MarketDrums for making investment decisions. We don’t take responsibility for missing or inaccurate news.
Do you have a reseller or referral program?
We sure do! Please contact us if you are interested in our referral program.
What if I do not receive text messages?
We send text messages to mobile numbers all over the world. Check our Country List to see if you entered the correct country code. Due to network problems text messages also can get lost. Please contact us if you have problems receiving text messages.
Is my calendar app able to receive your calendar feed?
To add the calendar feed to your calendar you need a calendar application that is able to subscribe to calendar feeds. We have verified the following applications to be compatible with our service: Outlook 2007, Outlook XP and 2003 (with our plugin installed), Vista Calendar, Google Calendar, Live Calendar, iCal and Netvibes. Adding the feed is easy: copy the URL on the “My Account” page and paste it in the ‘subscribe’ option of your calendar application.
What is a RSS feed?
An RSS feed is used to publish frequently updated news headlines in a standardized format. RSS feeds can be read using software called "RSS readers" or a "feed readers". How often are messages updated/send?
We are doing everything we can to send messages out the moment we receive them. Therefore the chances are very big that you’ll read important news via MarketDrums before you read it anywhere else.
How and when can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription by going to “My Account”. On the Account screen, choose “Cancel”. MarketDrums is a month-by-month subscription-based service. You can cancel your subscription any time fter which future charges to your credit card will be stopped immediately. Please note that you are responsible for charges already incurred up until your cancellation and that we do not refund for days left on your subscription after the last payment your cancellation.
Am I allowed to forward messages to other people?
Sorry but you are not. Due to the contracts we have with our news providers we cannot allow you to forward messages to third parties. Messages can be used for personal use only and can not be redistributed in any form or way.
How do I update or change my credit card information?
You can change the credit card used for monthly billing by going to “My Account”. On the Account screen, click “Billing” .
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription by going to “My Account”. On the Account screen, click “Upgrade”.
